Hi all,

I received packet 3 on the 29th January and I have sent off the DS-156, DS-156K and DS-230 forms but when do I send in the IV15 document checklist?

Do I send the checklist in once I have all of the documents in hand i.e. police cert etc and have also been for my medical or send it in now because I am guessing it takes a while after sending the checklist to actually receiving an interview at the embassy.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Form indicates in Step Four:

When you have collected all of the required documents and have marked each item with a check mark, Please complete the section below, then return all pages (1,2,3,&4) of this package to the embassy. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY DOCUMENTS WITH THIS FORM, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BRING THE DOCUMENTS TO YOUR VISA INTERVIEW.

It looks like you send the form in after gathering the required documents.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I suppose, due to the uncertainty of what interview date the London Embassy will give, its best to make sure the items on the checklist have been obtained before sending it off.

Oh well, I will just have to hope the Police Certificate doesnt take too long to arrive.

I am aware of what the Embassy's IV15 instructions say but due to the time between returning it to them and the interview date which you are then given, I thought maybe I could send it now knowing I would have enough time to gather everything and have it available before then.

I have looked at others timelines between sending back their packet 3 to the Embassy in London and the interview dates they were given. The timelines vary so I best try to be patient and wait! ^_^

Thanks for your reply!
