Hi All,

I am from Pakistan and we have applied for US Immigration F3 category visa. 5 months earlier we submitted all the documents to National Visa Center. Initially, National Visa center didn't require character certificate of my father , he is the ex-resident of Oman. Then they ask for that and we have sent it 30 days earlier and then a week ago we got a notification letter from National center that we will take around 60 days to complete your review then we will notify you. So my question is when can we expect our interview in the embassy ?

Quick response will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Visa Journey helped me find an error on the AOS in February 2015. In March 2015 I was also able to help my spouse get the correct birth records required by NVC by reading the Nigerian thread on Visa Journey.

April 2, 2015- Case is in Supervisor Review because the DS260 form was sent electronically January 6, 2015 but hasn't been reviewed as of yet.

April 17, 2015- I finally have the 3rd N/A next to the Affidavit of Support fee. I spoke to a supervisor yesterday (Thursday). She told me she would have the case reviewed by the end of the week. It looks like she kept her word. I will call again tonight to confirm case complete :)

It depends on your priority date and hopefully NVC respond exact after 60 days and after your case complete at NVC they gave you interview time within 2 to 3 weeks. Good Luck.

@anz Thanks for your response. Our priority date is 2 dec 2000. My Grandfather filed a petition for our family ( for his married daughter ). And then our petition got approved but unfortunately he got died in 2008 and they terminated our case. Then my uncle took that case in his hands and co-sponsored this case and after a year they gave us green signal again. Now we have done all the paper work the passport copies, birth and marriage certificates etc and actually 3 weeks ago we got a notification from NVC that they will notify us within 60 days after completing the review. Their next move should be call for an interview ? Can we expect interview in next 2 to 3 weeks ?

-Thanks

I also want to ask that 2 months earlier we got a letter from NVC stating that " your mailing/email address has been updated " and at the end of letter it was stated that foreign chargeability : Pakistan. Us Consulate: Islamabad. What is the importance of this letter ? Have they moved our case from NVC to Islamabad embassy ( which normally happens right before the interview ). How can I find that my case has been moved to local embassy ? because their website isn't showing the updated results and still says AT NVC. Does this letter indicates that our case is in Islamabad embassy for the interview ?

-Thanks

Your case is still at NVC. They are only giving you the details of your case. It won't be forwarded to the US Embassy until an interview date has been scheduled. Depending on when you got case complete, you can wait at most a month since your PD is already current.

NVC only sends out interview letters for family based petitions every last week of the month until the first week of the following month.

Good luck!

@apple21 our Priority Date became current in December 2008. Our case got terminated because my grandfather who sponsored us got died in 2008. Then my uncle resigned the petition in 2013 ( for the same case ) as a co-petitioner. Later on they approved the case again in February 2014. Now my question is will they send the interview letter and the letter about the completion of case on the same day ( will it be one single letter ) or will they first notify us about the completion of the case and then about the interview ?

-Thanks
