Hello India Forum!

My fiance works in biosciences, and when he applied for his tourist visa earlier in 2014 his visa was delayed 60 days for further administrative processing (in Chennai) - from what I understand, this is because of his association with the sciences.

Does anyone have experience with further administrative processing for the K-1 visa? He will be having his interview in Mumbai.

We are hoping that if he has passed once, it will not be necessary again.

Any experience that you have with this, or any experience other scientist fiances have had, would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
