Do not staple. Binder. Or any other means of attaching.

Either leave them as is (like I did and It was fine) or use paper clips.

The CO will have to remove and seperate anything you do, that would be creating more work for them.

They will deal with taking apart the documents and putting them in their own folders after they receive the petition. The CO(consular officer) won't have to deal with organizing someone's I-129F petition sent to the USCIS.

Read the link A&B posted. It gives you tips on how to prepare your petition for the USCIS. Don't staple them altogether, that is for sure. You do not have to 2 hole punch them, but use paperclips for separation and organization instead of staples.

One more question.....

I only have the short version of my Birth certifricate...it says instead of birth certifricate you can include all pages of your passport, what exactly does all pages mean? This is a brand new passport and it only has the uganda stams of entry exit and entry back into usa stamp....DO I really copy a ton of blank pages?

If you are Born US Citizen then your birth certificate is enough, but if you are naturalized US Citizen then a copy of your passport is needed. Regardless that the only stamp you have is your entry/exit you need to photocopy every single page of it as indicated in the walk through.

For evidences, provide as many as you can regardless whatever it is. And if you are on missionary visit then provide evidences about it and also provide an explanation letter.

Photos, include a story about what they are looking at and who you are in the photo. You need to convince them that you have a real relationship with him/her. Try to search for your boarding passes if they dated erronously your entry/exit. I guess if the other stamp is right it can be well explained.

There's no harm of providing any proof that you have. But for the visits, it will be best to provide the boarding pass.

Good luck.

Hi everyone, going to post just a few questions here and see if any of them can get answered!

1) I-129F is $340, my fiance has a child that I am including on the sheet, is there any additional fee to file for her at this stage in the game? I know later she must also go through the medical, pay a separate fee for applying to come etc etc, but in this original submission do I include anyhting other than the $340?

2) I have been supporting my fiance monthly by sending her moneygram payments. She doesn't have a passport so she asks me to send it to a male friend of hers, who collects it and gives it to her. Can I include moneygram transactions as showing that I am still supporting her or no since the money isn't being sent in her name even know she is the one ending up with the funds?

3 Once I submit I-129F tomorrow, it is very likely we will have her visa by December at the latest right?

4)For proof of being in person, I have photos of us, that I need to print at the local store, unfortunately they wont be dated as they are just coming off my iphone...I have a visa stamp showing entry into Uganda but it shows that I entered on august 1st, 2015, (should be august 1st 2014)...Is this going to be considered invalid? I also have some phone bills that show I have interntional calling plan now and I call uganda often...Anything else I can include? I do not have boarding pass but do have trip itinerary still, Unfortunately I met her while on a missionary trip so I don't really have receipts from hotels or anything like that since I stayed with an organization.

For the photos I downloaded a free app called dateforall and it works perfect (iPhone stores the date for the photo), puts the date on the bottom right of the picture. So even though they are secondary evidence they will be dated.

Thank you all to attempt helping me!

Thank you all to attempt helping me!

1. You only pay the one fee of $340 for the I-129F petition.

2. I would caution against sending money receipts, ESPECIALLY to someone different than your fiancée. This can be viewed as you being scammed of the money and that your relationship may not seem authentic. I for one would not include it, but I would instead include other stronger proof of relationship.

3. You may or may not get the visa by December. It can take up to 6 months or more to get approved for the I-129F petition, an additional 2 to 8 weeks at the NVC to get a case number, and then a couple more months in her country for the actual visa process. This doesn't include any administrative processing your case may have, which if you were put under AP it could be for months. I don't want to discourage you but I want to give you the realities of the waiting game you are going to face.

4. For proof of meeting in person, you will need good PRIMARY proof of meeting. Things such as boarding passes, passport stamps, hotel/store/restaurant receipts. If the only primary proof you have is your passport stamp, then definitely include it. The pictures you have of each other are only considered secondary evidence and are only for backing up your primary evidence. Just print out the photos and write the names, date and location on the back. Your phone bill records are NOT proof of meeting in person. They are only proof of your relationship. I would, however, include them along with your other evidence of relationship.

It means exactly what it says. You copy EVERY SINGLE PAGE, including all the blank ones.

Title says it all, my fiance in Uganda signed her G-325A, and letter of intention in blue ink. Everything else was typed into the computer in black...The paper does say use black ink...something as simple as this will it be a problem?

You can sign in blue or black ink. Either is acceptable.

So after having all the forms complete and filled out, did you guys staple them all together and put them in just like a big envelope? did you punch holes in them and place them in a binder? How should one go about the presentation of the documents literally meaning how do i send them?

Use paper clips to keep all similar items together, then slide all your papers into a large envelope. Or you can use one of the priority express mailers at the post office (this is what I did) and send it in.

No

2) I have been supporting my fiance monthly by sending her moneygram payments. She doesn't have a passport

She will need one by the interview.

so she asks me to send it to a male friend of hers, who collects it and gives it to her. Can I include moneygram transactions as showing that I am still supporting her or no since the money isn't being sent in her name even know she is the one ending up with the funds?

Sending money and using that as proof of a relationship is not a good idea. It can look like you are buying the person. It is usually frowned upon to use money receipt.

3 Once I submit I-129F tomorrow, it is very likely we will have her visa by December at the latest right?

Sounds reasonable but could be earlier and could be later.

4)For proof of being in person, I have photos of us, that I need to print at the local store, unfortunately they wont be dated as they are just coming off my iphone.

Don't need to be dated.

..I have a visa stamp showing entry into Uganda but it shows that I entered on august 1st, 2015, (should be august 1st 2014)...Is this going to be considered invalid?

Would raise an eyebrow but can be explained.

I also have some phone bills that show I have interntional calling plan now and I call uganda often...

Does nothing for the meeting in person.

Anything else I can include? I do not have boarding pass but do have trip itinerary still,

Call the airline and see if they can send you a copy of whatever that shows you were on the plane.

Unfortunately I met her while on a missionary trip so I don't really have receipts from hotels or anything like that since I stayed with an organization.

What documents do you have from that organization? Those would work.

Good thing I read this, ive stapled my photo bags to a blank sheet of paper. But I do have a question, since I'm including both copies of my birth certificate, do I NEED to copy every page of my passport? I've included the passport pages that matter most; stamps entry and departure from UAE, and my picture pages. But I felt, since my birth certificate is there I need not include all copies of passport pages. Thanks in advance

If you have a copy of your birth certificate, you do not need to copy all pages of your passport. You only need one form of evidence to prove your US citizenship.
