Hi so I received a rfe after submitting documents for adjustment of status for my fiance. It stated that my joint sponor didn't make the required guideline. Im confused because he makes over that amount. I myself make 20k and i send the evidence to them.Also they are asking for things he cannot supply because he is retired like w2, pay stud, employee letter.I did send his last 3 years tax transcripts.I also sent an attachment saying he is retired with pension and social security. Im not sure what to do

did you send an official letter from social security stating what his pension or social security is monthly, or a letter from where he receives his pension?

No I did not. His transcripts show his pension and social security benefits it shows all income. I sent pay studs etc for myself

You needed to send proof of his income amount, other than just taxes. You can get a benefits letter from the SSA and he should also receive an SSA-1099 that lists his SS income. If he gets another retirement pension, then he should receive a 1099 for it too. It may also help to show bank statements that show how much income is deposited to him each month, especially if any of his income is non-taxable.
