Well we're back from India. Trip itself was great, amazing wedding according to her customs, and actually I'd say Immigration was great as well... it was the airlines that made me hateful, but that's a different story for a different day. Just wanted to post this since I saw a lot of disparity on peoples' experiences re-entering on parole.

In Frankfurt (last stop before POE) the agent was informed of what my wife's AP was. I asked her if she sees those often out of sheer curiosity and she replied "Oh sure, all the time." That's comforting to hear.

In Charlotte (POE) the Immigration official gave my wife no problems at all. Asked her a couple softball questions and gave her a card and took the AP and passport since he stated he couldn't himself stamp it. We sat for about 5 minutes in the Passport Waiting Room and they handed it over no additional questions asked, no comments made. They stamped on the form "Paroled until Feb 05, 2008" Thought that was interesting since the form is only valid through Jan 2008. After that it was Customs and that took forever, but mostly because we made a declaration they had to look into for more information. No gripes for that either.

My wife is home safe and sound. Our interview is in 6 days. I'm so relieved.

December 30, 2006 Second Biometrics appt rcd:

January 06, 2007 AP is approved!

January 10, 2007 EAD is approved

February 13, 2007 AOS Interview: Appoved with passport stamping!

February 26, 2007 Greencard received!

Removal of Conditions:

February 12, 2009 I-751 Received.

March 17, 2009 Biometrics.

July 8, 2009 Card production ordered!

Hi, i stumbled upon your interesting conversation. I'm applying for K-1 visa for my fiance. I have a question on the timeline. How can you tell if the immigration official touched my application as you indicated on your timeline? When I type my receipt number on USCIS site, it doesn't say if my appli. is touched. Thanks a lot.
