Urgent Question on Minors and Drug Tests

Hey guys, just wanted to know real quick what type of drug test St Luke (SLMEC) uses for their medical examinations for the us immigrant visa applicants. Thanks in advance!

I am not really sure if there was drug test during the SLEC medical, because as far as i know, its your urine that they will ask for drug test which was never asked when I had my medical last january. We did go thu CBC,xray and physical exam.

Agree with hank SLEC don't do drug test,only take ur blood and urine,but when I had my medical last year they didn't get me urine test

no drug test.. Urine test is to check if you are pregnant.. Blood test to check if you have HIV

SLEC do drug test. But I think they will not disclose the result to u right away. i know some1 recently had a test in Slec then was referred to psych consultation. All throughout the interview/consultation in SLEC he denied that he never use marijuana. Then they let him go to the US embassy interview. At the US embassy the consul asked him if he ever use drugs but then he admit that 2 days before the medical exam he went to a party and took brownies which contains marijuana. Then, visa was denied because of substance abuse.

He was denied a visa because he admitted to substance abuse, right? They didn't deny it because they tested for drugs? If so I'd like to know if it was a blood or urine test

Hi guys! Sorry for bugging this community more than once now about the same thing but I'd like to know if any of you have taken the medical exam at St Lukes, and when you did, did you guys ask what the urine/blood sample was for? What did they say?

To the people here has failed the drug test (in SLMEC), i'd like to know why you failed it (how long ago you smoked or whatever), what test they administered, and if they asked for your consent or informed you of the test? Thanks!

they don't do drug test. but doctors will evaluate you

seems like you are anxious about it drug testing you have been posting more than once. You may call SLEC regarding your concern. They did not specifically mention what urine and blood test is it for. But i am sure they test for pregnancy and HIV.
