PS!

i would wait until the day before i go to the uscis to file the 130 before cancelling.

meaning - go to india

after 80 days write your letter and send it speed mail with confirmation

by the time 90 days rolls around your letter would have reached

this way - if your 130 is approved in the us during the 80 days, you can go with that instead of reapplying!

although - the transfer to nvc and all the jazz will take time too. so you might want to jsut decide to go dcf completely.........

thank you so much sam...hey just in case if they don't approve my petition in Delhi and if i have sent the letter for termination to the U.S already how this will affect my petition in the U.S...are they really going to terminate my petition in the U.S... i want at least one door to be open, you know what i'm saying..it's driving me crazy ,hope everything will work out....

well - if you write to terminate your application, yes they will cancel it

however - its unlikely you get turned down at the dcf and get approved at vermont

they go by the same rules.

and besides, if your app at vermont is not approved by the time you go for your i130 at delhi, you need to do something anyways. because that would be a lonnnnnnnggggggg time on the i130. means something was wrong - or someone lazy got your case.

i know what its like! crazy

however, you can go to the embassy and go to window 17 at 2-3 (or is it 3-4) and ask all teh questions you want

however that might be just visa related item

but - as a us citizen you can go to the uscis and just ask questions

one of the couples that was escorted at the same time as we areand they were there to only ask questions. so - you could always go and ask questions before applying in delhi.

Yes, they have.

It's not really 'DCF' in India; Delhi has a USCIS Field Office.

i called the embassy before, i didnt even get the support affadavit notarized since they told me it wasnt needed. since i was in india at the time i called the embassy to see if they did notarizing. they said is this for immigration, i said yes, they said that the affadavit doesnt have to be notarized.

so truly - nothing was notarized.
