Next I went inside for body and bag checking
Then I proceed to :
Step 1.finger print scanning and the woman asked me DS260 confirmation
page andAppoinment letter she wrote something on it and returned it to me
.And then she told me to go directly to step 2.
waiting time 2 minutes only before step 2
Step 2.Pre Screening Filipino consul.
He asked me the following documents because we only sent a xerox

E.How did you know each other ?
F.Do you have a pictures together?
And that's all he then told me to go directly to step4 for final

waiting time before step 4 almost 2 hrs of sitting and waiting before the

show numbers.
Step 4. American Consul.( a woman and she was very nice.)

Hi Dew_drops,

Our case is handled by a lawyer however, every time I call her and ask her the progress of our petition, the answer I always get is we are within the processing time and even when I challenge her by saying the VB is advancing, she always replies that there is nothing she can do apart from waiting until our petitions has passed the normal processing time. Therefore, I gave up asking her any questions because I get more answer from Visa Journey forums than our lawyer. She is useless and my husband always gets annoyed that why we did not file the petitions by ourselves. I also agree with @Appel21 suggestion because if we all contact our congress representatives we can see a change soon because they will put pressure on the service centre. Here in Britain if anyone contacts their local MP (Member of Parliament) they can get an answer really quick because they have a power to pressure things. @Appel21 can you please share the link to find the details of congressman? Many thanks in advance.

To check who your Congressman/Representative is, go here (search by zip code): http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/

Click on your district's Cong./Rep. and it will divert you to their official webpage. Look for the "HELPING YOU" button, choose HELP WITH A FEDERAL AGENCY (CASEWORK) and follow the instructions. This is what we did.

Good luck!

Hello All,

I think we all should do what I did and follow the link from Appel21 reponse because it will put a lot of pressure on the service center. Please do it as soon as possible so that VSC will be bombarded with emails and calls from the congressman means that they will be forced to look into our cases. If anyone hears anything please update here. Thank you so much again @Apple21. Good luck to us.

No problem.

Preferably (and this is what we did) fill out the CASE AUTHORIZATION FORM so they can get access to your case at USCIS. Send it thru fax (much quicker than mailing) together with a copy of your NOA1.

Good luck!

Hi Dew_drops,

submitting an email request is not something that will take a year to do and if you follow the link and instructions that @apple21 provided you will find all the info you need to submit your request. For the question about what I have mentioned in my email is I have explained our situation and provided all the info they need in order for them to investigate our case and also there is a form you fill out to give them a permission to access our case when they contact the service center.

It is up to you to follow which ever direction is best for you however,by the looks of it VSC does not look like they are going to start processing petitions beyond September 30.

@Susan,send your husband the link and ask him to follow the options to do both email request and fill out the form so that they can access your case. All the best darling and rather than waiting it is better to act on it now and I think we have Waited enough.

I will not feel bad now because I have used all my options. All the best of luck to all of us.
