what docs can we have ready before getting the NOA2?

1. NVC welcome letter

Bar coded cover sheet

Tax transcript 2011,2012,2013

Tax return 2014

W2 2014

letter of employment

copy of marriage license

copy of Greencard

　

2. IV documents:

Bar coded cover sheet

copy of birth certificate (beneficiary)

copy of marriage license

copy of police clearance

copy of biographic passport page

Photographs 2 pcs

plus.......

any supporting docs to prove your marriage is bona fide. (we will be including copies of the docs we originally sent to USCIS because some people have said here on VJ that those docs don't always transfer in completion to NVC).

Additionally, each country has a different medical system - so this is a good time to make sure that your medical is started. My hubby's from the UK so once he goes back he will go to his gp to make sure he has all the necessary shots. Its best to do all this in advance of the official visit with the medical doctors that certify your health for immigration.

Hi Habel - nice to nice you around! yea....can you believe that we are still waiting for NOA2!!!!!! almost a year and a half!

this is beyond ridiculous! I was glad too that the VB did not advance too fast but I know there were many waiting desperately for it to move ahead. I have stopped worrying too much about this because its really not in our control. I'm just "pretending" that we have been approved so my mind can be proactive in getting things done!

has your attorney given you any further direction or are you still waiting for your invoice from NVC?

Thank you dear. She told us to wait until beginnig of May to even collect the documents from us however, I have sent everything from myside but my husband needs to send all his tax documents as soon as she gives us a go head in May hopefully. I like your attitude towards the approval as worring too much will not make any difference apart from stressing yourself. All the best to you and I will update the family if I hear anything from NVC.

Hi any idea about how long does a police certificate takes to get from UK?

The UK police certificate is vaild for 12 Month. I got mine done last year Oct which expries this year Oct therefore, I am praying that I finsh all the process by then. If you have any further query please let me know or if you need the link I will be able to provide that for you.

Majority of October and November filers are approved. People who did not get approved needs to call uscis california center for case status. So visa bulletin will move a month at a time for few months. October filers will have interview in july or august and November filers will have between August and September.

11/27/2013 - Priority Date

04/29/2015 - DS261 filled

05/02/2015 - Case under CSPA review
