Our PD is almost from the same date. hope we hear soon from VSC. It is really hard to wait so long.

Yea we are quite close. This gets harder and harder each month. People are feeling like there will be a big jump, it's hard to predict. I think there will be a size-able movement at some point.

I do know that some December filers have reported that they are able to pay their AOS and IV fees but that is also because they were with CSC. It really worries me for that exact reason since we are so close to the December filers and we don't even have our NOA2 as yet.

Once we receive NOA2 it can take up to 2 weeks for it to reach NVC. And this is assuming that there are no RFEs. I mean sure, once it reaches NVC it should move relatively faster as we would expect to be closer to the priority date, but the waiting is still painful regardless.

The one thing I am thankful for is that February is a shorter month which means less time to wait for the next VB. The first 10 days on March before the next VB will be important to monitor these forums, as we will receive news from folks who are receiving their interview letters. That will be able to provide us a rough estimate on what the next VB will look like (since cut off is after the last date a person receives their IL).

No point contacting NVC as they will say wait for NOA2. USCIS is not helpful at all. All they say is that "VSC is currently processing cases before Sept 30th, 2013" They have a canned response. It is unfair, unfortunately I don't know of anyone higher up that can control this. I wish immigration reform had gone through but that is wishful thinking at best.

As of February 27, 2015, VSC is still stuck on 30 Sep 2013......how long we have to wait for our NOA 2??

Well i think if the VB for May cuts off at around middle of August, that would put it roughly 1 month away from the Sept 30 date of VSC.

Now NVC requires a minimum of 60 days to process an application sent over so i think this month of march would be the right time for them to start approving applications. since majority of applications between sept 2013 and probably February 2014 were in VSC we should be able to start seeing approvals.

They can't keep saying sept 30 if the Vb priority date soars past that date. they need to freaking start processing now.

My husband called the senator and asked him to follow up what is wrong with VSC.

their answer was :

"we are doing background check on the petitioners and that is why it takes time. it might take more times since we are very busy"

it is a very silly answer. since all other SCs are also doing same but they are way ahead. I doubt if in VSC , people are working! they might be on internal stuck or on coffee break all the time

There are quite a lot of Oct - dec 2013 filers that are still waiting approval from VSC and in regards to calling the service centre I have tried several times and the answer I am always getting is I am within the normal processing time therefore, I gave up now as there is not point calling them because they still tell me the same story all the time. I think my experience relates to most of the VJ member who filed their I130 in VSC. I hope we will get an approval soon because the Visa bulletin is now going to advance to 1st or 8th Aug 2013 which means that there is only three month time frame until my PD becomes current and I am still waiting for NOA 2 . VSC announced processing date for January 31.

What a surprise. It is September 30 2013!

Does somebody understands what in the name of God is happening here?
