The message you posted looks like part of the message i got from NVC when my case arrived NVC after few days, did you get a case complete? The documents you submitted to NVC last year is it still valid? I would advice you to keep calling NVC, sometimes you get an agent that wants to help, most times you do not. Try to explain that you have started processing last year, and have paid fees. Ask the status of your visa petition. Send an e-mail to NVC as well. I hope you get the answers you need soonest.

I suggest you wait till the VB comes out, if it advances close to your priority date, then you can say your case is close to being current. Call NVC am sure they have answers to your questions. Some people have been given access, some have not, i think your stage is to review documents. I do not know if they would notify you when they start. Since you have already paid fees. Give it sometime, relax a little bit. Soonest you would hear from NVC. They are processing cases not yet current. That is good news. Hang in there. Good luck. Remember some Vermont fliers have not gotten their approvals. I am hoping as well they start processing their cases soon. It would also point out how fast the bulletin would advance.

The title of this forum is misleading.

I read through all the comments hoping to find visa bulletin predictions but all I found was F2B visa bulletin predictions.

Well for VSC folks,

The VSC are processing cases from Sept 30, 2013. It puts the current VB roughly 3 months out from that date (06/22/2013)

That being said, I believe it is safe to assume that there have been no approvals for members in VSC with priority dates of OCT 2013 onwards.

So let's lay out some possible scenarios:

1. If the next visa bulletin cuts off at or around July 2014 then VSC will be 2 months away from priority date being current

2. If the next visa bulletin cuts off at or around August 2014 then VSC will be 1 month away from priority date being current

3. If the next visa bulletin cuts off at or around September 2014 then VSC will be current with priority date.

My feeling is that right now the VSC is 3 months away from the VB priority date being current and there have been no NOA2 approvals. I think that if it's at least 2 months away (Going with the best case scenario, item 1 above) we should start seeing NOA2 approvals for October and beyond filers as soon as March 2nd week.

Logic: Going with scenario 1, roughly 8 weeks would remain for priority date to catch up to VSC's processing timeline. if USCIS starts approving applications at this time, it would take at least 2-3 weeks to get to the NVC and possibly another 2-4 weeks to get into their system and begin preparing filers for paying the fees and completing their cases. This would put them roughly 2-4 weeks before their priority date becomes current which would line them up just perfect in time for an interview letter to be generated.

I've used estimates above and it is a prediction partially based on facts about readers posting their current timelines as well as my own experience from when I was an F4 filer. The NVC experience is however still the same.

I think and my wild guess is that April 2015 Visa Bulletin will bring upto July & August 2013 Priority dates to Current status.

Priority date and service center and where are you right now in the process? NOA1 or NOA 2? or further
