Rand Paul to Kentucky GOP: Hold a presidential caucus in 2016

This is so he can have his cake and eat it, too. He tried unsuccessfully last year to have the law in KY changed so he could be on the primary ballot both as a candidate for President and as a candidate for the US Senate. Since that effort failed, KY should now not decide the Presidential nomination along with the nominations for other 2016 contests but rather hold a separate caucus for the Presidential nomination so that Paul can still run for both offices despite having failed to garner the support needed to have the l;aw that prohibits this changed. The people of Kentucky reject that overwhelmingly. Even KY Republicans reject it but that doesn't mean that Rand Paul ceases to believe he deserves special treatment to secure a government job for him. Of course, he's doing this only for the people of Kentucky. They need Rand Paul in government so that government may help them. You get that? Yes, Rand Paul believes that government helps people - especially if he's part of said government.

To put it into Paul's own words:

"I believe I can keep helping the people of Kentucky as senator, but I think there is no doubt I could help them even more as president."
