Chasing my tail with a 1040x in one hand and an AOS i-864 in the other. HELP!

Hey everybody im so confused, feels like im running around chasing my tail trying to get answers about filing the AOS i-864 with an amended return and well as some other irritating tax questions. Unfortunately my current situation has multiple factors potentially effecting the outcome of my case. In a nutshell, I am a US citizen and I filed my amended 2013 taxes (1040x) much later than i was supposed to. As of today the IRS website shows they have accepted my return but it it still pending to be adjusted which takes 8-12 weeks. When i try to print out my 2013 tax receipt that needs to be included with the i-864, it shows a verification of non-filing .pdf letter. Im worried the tax receipt will not reflect the correct information by the time i have to send the I-864. I've heard i can simply include a printed copy of the 1040x i filed but that just shows my adjusted income and i don't know if that will be good enough. I also have multiple 1099's along with a couple of w2's for 2013 and im worried i will have to wait until the 1040x has been adjusted and completed before i can finally get the ball moving in the right direction again. Some additional info to consider, im currently living with my wife in Toronto while our case is pending. Although i made enough to financially support her based on my gross income for the past 3 years, the schedule C deductions from my self employment show me at a loss with a refund. Does that mean i cant sponsor her by myself? I DO have a joint sponsor just in case but would rather avoid the hassle. So frustrated with this whole process, any advice would be much appreciated!
