Hi, my AOS just got approved today, after 13 months. It was processed at the National Benefits Center. It doesn't mean yours will take so long, but be prepared because it can be fast or slow, there's no way of knowing for sure. Best of luck.

Right now its a 8 to 12 month process (more on the longer end) . You have no way of knowing for sure until you are assigned it will be Atlanta. if you have to be interviewed it will be your local office yes.

Because genuine folk get denied and put n AP everyday. Some never get their husbands, wives, fiance(e)'s to US EVER!. So the fear is real.

The "The long as you are real you have nothing to worry about" is well high hopes and based upon if you will the feelings of another person on a that day. That CO could be having a REAL bad day you know. Could have nothing to do with your evidence or anything about you.

I come from this point of view because I grow tired of people sending pounds and pounds and pounds of evidence spending hundreds and thousands of dollars to travel all year long during this ridiculously long process to prove they are real.

So yes they are scared. It's sad.

because interview is not all about genuiness but about technicalities... how can you tell who is in love or not?

you're correct. in addition, like every other exams or interviews, it's normal that fear of the unknown abound no matter how prepared one is for that exam or interview. that is the beauty of interviews lol
