A man who recently arrived from India files suit after police officers in an Alabama town threw him to the ground during an investigation into a report of a suspicious person. Nathan Frandino reports.

Poor Indian guy never had a chance. The body slam was too much for him. (Video Available)

Another win for the police

They probably thought he was black or a Muslim.

The latter. He was apparently looking at the homes in a terrorist kind of way. Can't figure out any other reason why the cops would have stopped for the man at all. He was just walking down the street. Dangerous activity in America these days as it seems. For people of color, at least. White folk can walk down the street with rifles strapped to their backs and no cop will care.

Full video here, by the way. It's obvious from this clip that the victim did not understand the cops.

Straight off the boat and got his welcome to America stamp right on his face. I wonder if he will tell his relatives back home how awesome America is and they should come and visit as soon as they get a chance.

But only if they have no problems to live the rest of their lives in wheelchairs. This is horrible. Fortunately, my dad is white so I don't have to worry when he goes for walks while he's here visiting me.

It is saying a lot about you that you'd apparently like to see people there brutalized by police.

As for the POS ex cop: He might work for the Plano, TX police department - if they hire felons. Let's face it, this ex cop ain't getting out of this without a felony record.

If he gets anywhere near Dallas PD, I know a police commissioner who will make a man out of this piece of garbage.

Update

"He's a skinny black guy. He's got a toboggan on," said the caller, who isn't identified.

Police arrived in patrol cars within minutes and found Patel walking in his son's neighborhood in Madison, a Huntsville suburb of about 46,000 people near high-tech businesses, the University of Alabama-Huntsville, and NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.

The cop was fired and arrested. He will spend some time in jail. He was a thug with a badge. No need for officers of this kind. You could see the other officer at the scene was acting how you would expect and officer to act in this situation.

When officers deliberately escalate the situation for their own ego….they need to go.
