Rob999 I love your data. I have been doing my own analysis on the VJ Data and made the assumption that the number of VJ joiners remained constant over time. With that I was looking at Igor's data in that we see a decline in the number of NOA1 applications from October 2014 to February 2015. I determined that TSC approves about 150-160 VJ applications per month. So.... if the applications are falling then the pace should quicken. At least that is what I was looking at and hoping.

Yesterday I discovered data that disturbs me. It is USCIS data that showed the actual number of applications per quarter (Links) below and that they have been fairly constant for the last 8 quarters.

Now the USCIS data is crazy to me below. Here is why. Pending applications from the previous quarter + New Applications - Approved applications - Denied Applications should equal Pending applications ending the existing quarter. Of course this is government math.... like the US Budget it does not make any mathematical sense.

I would like your opinion on the data from the links below.

Overall data can be found here http://www.uscis.gov/tools/reports-studies/immigration-forms-data/data-set-all-uscis-application-and-petition-form-types

Remember the government data is Q1 is OCT-DEC ; Q2 JAN-MAR Q3 APR-JUN and Q4 JUL-SEP

Here is latest numbers http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Resources/Reports%20and%20Studies/Immigration%20Forms%20Data/All%20Form%20Types/all_forms_performancedata_fy2015_qtr1.pdf

Here is 2014 Numbers (Oct 1, 2013-Sep 30, 2014) http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Resources/Reports%20and%20Studies/Immigration%20Forms%20Data/All%20Form%20Types/all_forms_performancedata_fy2014_qtr4.pdf

Here is 2013 Numbers http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Resources/Reports%20and%20Studies/Immigration%20Forms%20Data/All%20Form%20Types/AllForms-Q42013.pdf

I hope this will confuse/clarify for you. I am still sorting it all out.

Congratulations! You are living proof! Yes, we all must understand that there are more people not on this website applying for a K-1 then us on here. We honestly probably only make up for about 5% of all K-1 filers across the U.S. The statistics on here are simply a rough estimate. Very rough. We could never use the statistics in here to conduct an immigration study whatsoever.

I have a PhD in engineering and I can tell you that my academic colleagues would never use data from forums. I do hope that this response will ease some people's minds. Just relax, enjoy the ride, and the NOA2 will be in your mailbox before you know it!

. Man o man I wish I could be as positive as you ? not easy at all at this stage! Checking my email before I've even opened both eyes in the morning lol

As we started discussing in the original thread where I linked to the data... I don't think it's volume of applications that is disturbing, but their refusal to acknowledge the discrepancy in workloads between the two service centers processing 129F petitions: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/538619-february-2015-filers-texas-service-center/page-5#entry7532238

Make no mistake, EK got their approval because they were a Philippines expedite. Those who have received approvals in less than a month were definitely at the CSC. Folk in the TSC are still waiting long times. It's TBD what the transfers will do for us

9/11/14 - Petition received @ USCIS lockbox
9/11/14 - NOA1 Email and text message received

4/20/15 - NOA2 text and email (221 days)

4/29/15 - Sent to the NVC (9 days)

5/8/15 - Arrived at the NVC (9 days)

5/13/15 - Left the NVC (5 days)

5/15/15 - Electronic version arrived at the embassy (2 days)

5/20/15 - Paper copy arrived at the embassy (7 days)

Hey. I keep on checking this website. How come the dates keep on getting pushed back?

Yesterday I saw that TX was processing cases for 2nd November. And now it says 27th October. Very frustrating.

And why is TX this slow?!!??!?! whereas everyone at California is getting their NOA2s in just a few weeks!

TSC is not being predictable nor is it processing in order, NOA 1 from August, September, October and November are being processed. So unfortunately there is no logic available or communicated to us in how TSC is processing cases at the moment. And why? Because TSC has many more states to process than CSC, though there has been some form of transfer going on there is no communication in what that means except for theories being passed around on VJ. There seems to be no logic with K1 processing at TSC at the moment. We are just going with that our NOA 2 is going to be Q3 this year to keep our expectations at a low so we don't get frustrated, and believe me we are really frustrated so I think we would really crumble if we had high expectations

Someone on one thread said that his/her congressman was told that TSC just hired a bunch of new adjudicators. Maybe (totally speculating here) that the new guys are getting or training on the November/December cases while the regular people continue to work Oct??

Just a theory...there seems to be no rhyme or reason to how they're doing things at the moment.

Hi E K.

May I ask are you a Filipino residing outside the Philippines?

I know those petitions whose beneficiaries are from the Philippines are expedited, I'm curious if this will only be true for those who are located in the Phils or is it also extended to Overseas Filipino Workers.

It's crazy just looking at the TSC timelines!!!

We received our NOA1 14 March, so hopefully we don't have to wait long.
