Texas service center processing time 2015

Hey, I just found our couple in the IGOR's list. We're #11 there. In the list there's nothing about tranfers. We mailed our case first to Lewisville, TX. But in several days it was tranfered to CA.

Feb 06 got NOA2 (checked USCIS webpage), but my fiance didn't get neither a text msg or email, and we're waiting a hardcopy of NOA2. If we get nothing till Tue, my fiance will try to contact to them.

You were not transferred, all of our applications go to what is known as the "lockbox" first which is in Texas no matter whether you go to CSC or TSC first. If your NOA 1 has California Service Center address then you went directly to CSC and not TSC.

If you were transferred then you will have a notice of transferal which is not the NOA1 (it comes way after the NOA 1, there has been no transfer in the last couple of months). Quite simply you went straight to CSC, lucky you!

Can you update your timeline to reflect as such to help the statistics be correct?

And you are basing this conclusion on what exactly? The not necessarily reliable VJ estimate processing date has been hovering at various July dates since I joined this board two months ago.

Probably best to ignore this date, it goes forwards, backwards pretty much all over the place. I've never understood how this date is calculated.

It was at May when I joined. I think it gets affected by incorrectly tagged CSC application dates too, it'll probably make you too hopeful! I just get a vague idea of current processing from Igors list and then leave it as that.

if the processing could vary in definite from 5 to 7 month, the wait can be bearable, however when u log and find that some applications got approved in less than 2 month within the same center, it drives any sane person crazy and oh well envious , cause everyone of us want to be with his soul mate.

It annoys me referring the reason behind expediting Philippines application to the typhoon even though some other countries are suffering from circumstances way worse. Processing time should be equal, to ensure fair chances for everyone.

Anyway we are still hoping for 6 months wait period, though our July wedding seems impossible now.

The timeline predictions work based on visajourney.com members and what they put into their timelines. We have a whole bunch of people who think that just because they sent their application to a PO box in Texas so that must be where their file is though in reality they were then sent to California and then they get approved in 10 days and mess up the prediction. We also have those who think that because they sent their file to a PO box in Texas and then their file were sent to California they were transferred (which is wrong) so they get sorted with the Texas people anyway, get approved in 10 days and mess up the timeline prediction.

So the explanation is not that TSC is working on cases again, it means that people didn't quite pay attention when they filled out the timeline and/or did not look around the forum for directions first.

For people who obviously got offended from my post, please do not miss interpret my words, no one is getting "flamed", and for sure not attacking Filipinos, cause my close friends comes from Philippines, and I'm sure if it was any other nationality I would state the same.

This is government work, and chances should be equal to everyone, when we apply for such visa, we are looking for love not for social aid, otherwise people from different countries (as I said before) who are suffering from war should have their applications expedited, I know as well that what im saying is thoughts being shared as all of you do here, and for sure it wont affect the processing, or government decisions so for the moaning part, this forum is not only for information its for support as well, same as "Mecha23" did with "LoveinGhana!", so when members share there pain here there are not nagging, they are just in need for encouragement to endure this torture of separation, and what you just said (you know ur self) is direct flaming and bashing.

My status is still saying "case received" when I check my case status on the uscis site.

Got it. Their website is down again, so it's quite possible more people have been approved without realizing it yet. Although it's weird that CSC filers would receive updates but not TSC filers, but stranger things have happened.

Honestly you probably won't see an update until between May and June...maybe April if you're lucky. Not to be harsh, but I think it's better you hear the truth. When we filed (July 1st) someone told me three months.....we didn't hear anything until Feb 3. Anyways like I said it's better to overestimate with these things so you can save yourself some heartache and stress

So can we contact the uscis about our case or can see the date changing that come every 15 days of website of uscis. A time ago case status web page was different but now it's looks different.u think they made some change inside it.
