Congratulations! You are living proof! Yes, we all must understand that there are more people not on this website applying for a K-1 then us on here. We honestly probably only make up for about 5% of all K-1 filers across the U.S. The statistics on here are simply a rough estimate. Very rough. We could never use the statistics in here to conduct an immigration study whatsoever.

The IGOR list is one of the few things that give me the slightest bit of hope seeing our NOA2 soon. I know it's a small % of actually filers on the site and people don't properly update their timelines but it's nice to see what NOA1 filers are getting their NOA2.

TSC is a mess.. it went from June 6 to June 25..

everyday i feel more thankful that i escaped that hellhole due to the "philippines expedite"

TSC may actually start hitting an average of 300 days wait time from noa1 to noa2! maybe worse because of Obama's immigration stuff (doesn't it hit on 2/18?!)

But assuming a normal distribution and equal likelihood for approvals of filers represented here and those not, even if just 5% are and no approvals get reported on here - what do you think this means for the totality of the petitions?

Ok I've become entirely too tired and annoyed with all of this criticism of the VJ data. I too am an engineer and I live in the stats world. Although the amount of data contained in the VJ space represents a small amount of the entire body of data, it cannot be so easily dismissed with a mere wave of the hand. In the stats world, you don't often use the entire data body when making an argument regarding a particular position on a subject. Rather, you sample the data, discover the trends and try to form some type of conclusion based on those numbers. So long as the sample is representative of the data as a whole, then the argument is valid. The only argument that can be made against the point I'm trying to make is that we don't know what the entire data body looks like. However, that too isn't always necessary when examining trends. Often times, trend data is used to make a reasonable hypothesis about what the entire data body looks like.

But I digress, I don't want to get off into theorems and such, I'd be here all day. This is just a one-and-done post to say "back off of the VJ data criticism" ... his has validity and is supported by commentary in the many posts in the respective threads that report on experiences by real-life folk who have filed petitions in the respective service centers.

So no, your comments don't ease my mind, because I don't agree with you, but thanks for the attempt anyway. I won't sit back and relax and just accept the suppository that the USCIS is handing us, at least not without a fight.

But I digress again.

I filed July 2014 Just got approved Feb 3, 2015. It takes anywhere from 6-7 months to get approved at TSC unless you are lucky and get processed faster.

We were also a lot more chilled out about the wait in the first month after we filed (at the time, TSC was processing I129F petitions in just under 5 months). Let us know how you're feeling about it after 7 months of waiting.

We apply on 3rd nov 2014 and 12 nov we recive notice that case has been sent to TSC and now it's 14 February 2015 we did not see any update change on case status.any idea how much time it will more took.

Honestly you probably won't see an update until between May and June...maybe April if you're lucky. Not to be harsh, but I think it's better you hear the truth. When we filed (July 1st) someone told me three months.....we didn't hear anything until Feb 3. Anyways like I said it's better to overestimate with these things so you can save yourself some heartache and stress
