New Case Number Recieved. Do I book Medical? (K1 - London)

Good Morning All.

Yesterday my case was received by the NVC and they have given me the new LND case number

So, I am wondering when shall I book the medical? I have read there is potential issues if my medical report was received by London before my case arrives? What have other people done and when is the best time to book?

My case is still at NVC

Hi there! Congrats on the case number!

I had my fiance book his medical as soon as we had the case number (so while it was still at NVC), but we made sure he left enough time for the case to actually arrive in London (so a few weeks as you can see from my signature below). I wouldn't make your medical for say, next week, if they had some kind of miraculous opening.

You can definitely call and make your appointment with your case number now, but best advice would be to make the appointment for a few weeks from now to give the case ample time to arrive and be processed at the embassy - and worst case, if for some awful reason it doesn't arrive you can re-schedule the appointment as long as you give them (I think) 3 days advance notice
