I don't see many current and active italian members here (especially K1) but I hope to have some feedbacks (also generic ones if someone has something to say about this consulate) from people who have already done the interview/know something about the last part of this process, receiving the visa in hand!

How long did you wait for the delivery? Did you choose the home delivery or to pick it up at the dhl point?

Looking at some timelines here I've seen few people receiving the passport back after one or two days, how could that happen? These members gave wrong information probably?

Are there frequent cases of long AP or it usually takes few days to be issued?

(I have already read consulate reviews)

08/04/14 - 08/29/14 Three weeks together, not long enough, got engaged.

08/27/14 - Sent I-129F

09/03/14 - NOA1

10/23/14 - Marcello returns WOOHOO!!

01/15/15 - Times up, I return to Italy with him

02/05/15 - I return to NY. Need more time together, A LIFETIME!!!

04/01/15 - NOA 2

04/13/15 - Case headed to NVC

04/15/15 - I return to Italy

04/24/15 - NVC numbers assigned

04/27/15 - left NVC

05/01/15 - consulate received case

05/02/15 - I return to NY

05/04/15 - packet 3 received

05/05/15 - packet 4 received

06/29/15 - medical

06/30/15 - interview - APPROVED!!!!

07/07/15 - Marcello arrives for good!

07/18/15 - Wedding Day!!

Hi, I am also with Naples consulate. I am still waiting for case complete, my scan date is 15th january. I was hoping knowing a little bit more about italian fillers too! But so far i didn't see any!

I have already went to Naples consulate howerver since we reported the birth of our son there... I know it has nothing to do with this process but people were nice...

Answering at my own question, yesterday morning I had the interview, during the afternoon the status changed in ISSUED and this morning visa in hand!! Super quick!

23 December 2014 I-129F SENT

29 December 2014 NOA1

12 January 2015 NOA2

29 January 2015 NVC CASE NUMBER ASSIGNED

09 February 2015 CONSULATE RECEIVED

03 March 2015 MEDICAL EXAM

04 March 2015 INTERVIEW: APPROVED!
