Gave Mrs. T-B. a mushy card in Spanish; I got most of what it said, but not all.

Attached inside was a gift card to her favorite store.

She gasped.

I asked, "Do you like your card?"

She said, "Si!"

I asked, "What does it say, exactly?"

She said, "It says '$__ to my favorite store!'"

---

Took Mrs. T-B. to some garage sales, where she found stuff that pleased her.

Took her to Langosta Roja (Red Lobster), her favorite, for lunch.

In return, she let me take a nap.

Fair trade.

(No, not THAT V.D.)

What are we getting/what did we get for the significant other for this Valentine's Day?

What are we getting/what did we get from the significant other for this Valentine's Day?

What are we doing (keep it clean, please) with the other on, or in view of, this Valentine's Day?

----> Is it/will it be/will it have been/was it enough?

----> Is Valentine's Day overrated, a crock, quite nice, or what?

Spill the beans and discuss them (in terms of societal policy, if that makes it a Hot Social Topic).

[Mod hat briefly on]

Had to remove a post and one quoting that had a not-exactly-family-friendly link in it.
