Hello everyone, I-130 Petiton for my wife is approved yesterday. The Interview takes less than 10 mins. He asked me for my Green Card and verify few questions that were on first page of the application forms. He told me he already reviewed my application and he was really impressed with the way I have sent documents. He finally stamped ' APPROVED' on the top of the application.

Good Luck Nay05,

I am still not a US citizen. I had my interview on August 18 and I passed the civic test and English test. The office did not approve my case because I was arrested on public drunkness after I filed the N400 form. He asked me to send the final court paper before they can take any decision. I have the trial on Sep 1. I will see how it goes. Good luck with your interview. I have the court date the same day you gave the interview.

Interviews at the USCIS level for standalone I-130s are extremely rare, and tend to only happen when there is a problem, such as suspected fraud, possible AWA-related issues, or other things that would prevent a straightforward approval.
