Hello people!

I have my interview next Tuesday for K1 and i'm confuse about the affidavit of support and the evidence of support.

Do I need both or just the I-134?

Also, I had to pay the 265$ when I scheduled my interview (I have the evidence I paid it) but on the packet 4 it says I can only pay it cash....

Thanks

I-134 is all you need for k1 interview . Just had my interview in Montreal and that's what they wanted . I had the I-134 in a separate zip lock bag with my fiances - tax returns from last year.. His W2 .. Letter from his work confirming employment . The girl at the embassey loved that I had copies all ready for her all in one package. Don't forget a new letter of intent to marry that was signed in the last 30 days . When I was there 2 people did not have that ready .

I paid my $265 with credit card .dosnt matter how you pay as long as you pay it.. Your confirmation letter proves that you already paid and you will need that confirmation letter just to get into the embassey

A bit of advice .. I bought these 5 gallon zip lock bags and put every thing in them cuz you can't bring anything into the embassey. I had my passport, hotel room key and all the paperwork in them. Worked out great cuz that morning at 7am while about 25 of us were standing in line outside the embassey it was snowing heavily. Everyone's paperwork was getting wet from snow and a lot of people said what a great idea with the zip lock bags lol !!

Good luck on Tuesday ! As long as you have all the paperwork they ask for , you will be just fine . I was really nervous too but so relieved when they said approved ! The waiting for my ceac to say issued was more stressful for me. I had my interview on Friday January 30th and was in administrative processing till this Thursday when it finally changed to ISSUED and yesterday I got an email from loomis with my waybill number saying it was on its way .
