Wonder why nobody cried Racism on this . I hate it for the kids, but I am sick of Race being used as a crutch to lean on when something does not go someones way.

Did you read it? The league that filed the complaint said the kids were put in the middle of this by the adults who were the ones who broke the rules, contrary to what you claimed a few posts above.

You have to be a resident within the map of the league's boundaries, or attend school within those boundaries .The kids know where they live and who travels half an hour to be on a certain team . ringers being brought in . ... Sounds like you never played sports before

i think this thread is hinting at something bigger than little league. it starts with a g and ends up with too many backwoods republicans in congress.

So they show the boundary maps to the kids? Interesting. Also interesting that the article you posted states that it's the Leagues fault and not the kids. Sounds like you don't read well. And I grew up in suburbia, so there was no problem with boundaries for sports. Most towns had their own league and teams. Not an issue at all.

i'm pretty sure that little league requires community and where there's community you can bet there are community organizers, you follow the slippery slope?

Ahhh, so it's Obama's fault. I'm still waiting for lost to tell us the name of the corner market that employs over 1000 people with the Chinese cook that makes over 60K per year. I'm sure he didn't make that up.

At least he doesn't believe that he made that up. It's important to remember that the oxygen levels in the bunker aren't always what they should be.

i'm guessing, from the way the op was presented. ideally, al and jesse share the blame. we've just got to keep them in the conversation, they're very relevant.

I hear that LIB and his Mrs are having a romantic candlelit dinner in the bunker for Valentines Day.

The problem is they cheated, and just like everyone else that has been caught cheating there was a penalty to pay. Hate it for the kids, just like I hated it for the Penn State players who suffered for what the coaches had done many years before. I also hated it for the Olympic athletes who trained all their life, but could not go because Carter boycotted the Olympics in Russia that year.

The sicking part is that because they happened to be black, there is an outrage going on, and many are screaming racism, despite the fact they were treated just like everyone else.

You can't demand equal treatment, while still demanding special treatment at every turn. Idiotic behavior like this hurts the true struggle for equality, as we become desensitized to real racism and jaded to the outcry of racism at everything.

So why do you Obama deniers want. Should we give them a free pass, because they are black, despite the fact white teams caught doing the same thing were stripped of their title?

No one here(at least from what I saw) says they should get away with cheating. Nor this free pass that some of you hate more than actual racism.

It's bad they cheated, no matter what the color is. They're cheaters, what makes you think they're above crying racism?

When you make it about race from the get, this is what the response will be. You want to have some constructive dialogue about it? Leave the snarky racist comments out of it, you'll see folks can view this objectively. But you can't, therein lies the issue.

I don't recall reading any posts in this thread even remotely suggesting that they should get away with this.I entered this thread by stating that I feel for the hard working kids that had their moment in the sun taken away from them by the wrong doing of adults. Then some clown states that the kids are responsible for the cheating. I did not read where anyone said they should get a free pass because they were black. I didn't read where anyone said they should retain the title period. I have not read anyone defending the cheating.

Of course they're responsible. I swear, these dudes think WE'RE the privileged class.
