medical examination expenses

Hi everybody, I´m trying to fill my I485 (AOS) form, I alredy have everything, But I´m stuck in the medicals part. I was calling the CS in my area and the fees are between 300$-800$ thats a lot for me right now. I know I can get the vaccunations with triCare, somebody knows if I can use Tricare for anything else? maybe X rays or Tb test? besides, there is the possibility to send the i485 form without the medical examinations and then submit it when I have it or for the interview (Just wondering).

You definitely need to do your medial examination and have it cleared and signed by a Dr. before sending your paperwork. It will only further the time for your paperwork if it is not complete. You could potentially get your vaccines at a place like Walgreens and just have the Civil Surgeon sign off on everything. They just need your vaccination records, it doesn't matter where you get them. Just so you know you have to go to a certified Civil Surgeon or else your paperwork will just get denied. Here is a list of the approved ones: http://www.uscis.gov/tools/designated-civil-surgeons/designated-civil-surgeons. I would call around and try to find something cheaper. Ours was about $200 total.

We had our vaccines done separately but the CS had to do everything else, TB test, Blood work etc.
