CEAC Status tracker. You will need your NVC case number.

If your petition was only just approved it can take anywhere from a week to 30 days or more for it to be shipped from the service center to NVC. You can usually start calling the NVC after about two weeks. Once they have acknowledged receipt of your case you can ask them for the assigned case number. This is the number you enter on the above site. (format is AAAxxxxxxxxxx) for example ours is LNDxxxxxxxxxx - the first three letters are the code for the embassy it is being sent to. In our case, London. The x's will be numbers.

If it says 'AT NVC' it has not yet left the NVC. 'In Transit' means it is on it's way to your fiance's embassy/consulate. Beyond that it will tell you if the visa was issued, when it is in it's final administrative processing status and when it changes to 'Ready' it means the embassy/consulate has received the application and is now awaiting something from your fiance (medical results, interview date, DS-160, payment... etc)

You can also track it on the DHL website, as long as you know the date it was sent in transit.

dhl.com/en/express/tracking/shippers_reference.html

Type in shippers reference: example: EXP 06 FEB 2015A (change it to the date you know they sent it from NVC to your respective consulate).

Date range for shipment-From: (do it a couple days before)

Date range for shipment-To: (can leave it as today's date)

and then country, select your country.

Hope that helps
