Not trying to rub anything in folks, but we were processed in 49 days in Vermont. I would think it isn't Vermont necessarily, but your case. I'd be demanding some answers/writing some congress folks.

That is not correct, there is nothing wrong or unique about this case, VSC current processing time shows F2A as 30th Sept, 2013. Immediate relative petition is treated differently from Spouse and children of LPRS. CSC service centre processes I 130 petition within 5 months, mine was processed wishin 3 months, some even less, but that does not mean our case is current, my case has been at NVC over a year, approved but pending further processing. I believe strongly VSC's processing time would advance to accommodate cases about to be current, by so doing the case would not have to stay at NVC for so long. KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE PROCESSING TIMES PUBLISHED EVERY MONTH.

You were processed coz ur petition is under IR1 for which the processing time is 5 months since months for VSC where as for us it is more than a year now and still there is nuthin going.... Our PD would be current in less than 5 months and still these people dont know what to do???

I thought that the processing times posted in this month would advance atleast to Nov 1 2013 but now its still same date.... What are they doing i cant understand....All the other centers have 5 months but still VSC is stuck at Sep 30 2013 is sumthg really disturbing for all F2A guys...
