I'm curious. Why does being an atheist make him a leftist? On his FB page, he speaks out about gun control and he's a gun carrier. Isn't that something the right does? According to here leftists are sissies who couldn't fight out of a wet paper bag.

My assessment of this ####wit's politics come from the political slant of the media sites he is reported to have subscribed to and followed, rather than his religious beliefs, or lack thereof. Why search for incongruous linkages, when there is evidence in plain sight?

As for his views on firearms, maybe he has an actual understanding of the current interpretation of the Second Amendment, rather than a politically-influenced viewpoint.

Let's be clear here on the whole "profiling" thing. It's perfectly fine to use race as a description of a suspect. If a serial killer suspect is described as a white man, cool. Now we can narrow it down. What is not ok is using race as a basis for asking for proof of citizenship, as a basis for an airport search, as a basis for an illegal unwarranted "stop and search". If there was serial killer on the loose, no self respecting law enforcement would say "ok boys, we got us a serial killer on our hands. Let's start looking for white people". You have to have something to go on. Evidence, witnesses. The act itself is not evidence.
