Pending i-485, does USC spouse need to change address too?

Hi everyone!

So I have a pending i-485, received an interview waiver notice back in September 28th. Shortly after that, my wife and I moved out of her father's house into our own apartment, in the same town. I filled in the online address change form and got confirmation and everything from USCIS, but I never thought, does my wife also need to do the same?

We moved in October and I filed as soon as we did, but I never realised that she would have had to, as I thought her part as far as paperwork was largely over.

In short; did we need to submit a change of address for my USC wife as well as me for my pending I-485, and if we did, how bad is it that we didn't!?

Many thanks, hopefully the responses don't freak me out. We're planning to visit home in July/August and I really don't want any delays to the AOS!

EDIT: My wife was not my primary sponsor, her Mother and Step-father were co-sponsors and have not changed address.

The USC must complete the I-865 form 30 days after moving as long as the I-864 is in effect. Since you are not yet a LPR--AOS still pending--the I-864 is not enforcable. As long as you still can receive mail at both addresses, you should have no problems in receiving the GC. It is up to you as to whether she completes the I-865 now or when you receive the GC. Since you have already completed the AR-11, it might be best to go ahead and send in the I-865 now.

A wife has to be the primary sponsor and fill out an I-864.

All sponsors who move are to fill out a Sponsor's Change of Addrss Form http://www.uscis.gov

Even after you get your greencard, sponsors have to report if they move.

Ok, we'll make sure and rectify this tonight.

Is there any chance that this could come back to bite us in the behind? <_<

Thanks so much for posting this question! We're in the processing of moving at the end of the month and I didn't realize that the sponsor needed to do a change of address. I just downloaded the I-865 http://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/affidavit-support and will be mailing it out today. Also I only did a change of address for the I-485 since the EAD/AP have already been received? Hope I did everything right?
