It seems like most of us February folks are doing really well; however, we're not there yet personally--our case is one of the ones that got transferred from the Vermont Service Center to California a couple of days ago, but seeing that CSC is doing so well, I hope we'll be at the NVC stage soon!

Congratulations to all who got to NVC and especially to the ones who'll be having their interviews soon! Best of luck!

Rutabaga I will pray for a quick approval at USCIS so you can join/catch up with the rest of the February filers at NVC. I the name of Jesus all shall be well with your case.

Hi all,

I'm so glad to see everybody's progress!

BHSMama, you definitely should try to get an expedite. I haven't seen anyone get a denial for it this month!

My case is kind of bittersweet. I sent my application together with my daughter's. We got our NOA2 together. However, it seems our cases got split within NVC. I managed to get my DS-261 reviewed on the phone last Thursday... I paid the IV fee on Friday and yesterday my DS-260 was already available - I just sent the packages today, so now I am just waiting.

However my daughter's case is stuck. They can't review her DS-261 on the phone - we've been calling every day for the last four days. I know I shouldn't be worried because she is a child, but I wonder if they will ultimately review our documents together or not (I already sent her packages as well).

I hope everyone is having a good day/evening and that our wait will not take too long!

I'm asking because i found this and is really confusing me, it says NOT NEEDED but idk if i should send them.

NVC's website states:

"All documents not written in English, or in the official language of the country in which application for a visa is being made, must be accompanied by certified translations and submitted to the NVC. The translation must include a statement signed by the translator stating that the:

-Translation is accurate, and

-Translator is competent to translate

Thank you... Ill definitely look into calling NVC about the expedited. Everything's going to work out in your favor.

Ooh so sorry and I wish your hubby a quick recovery in Jesus name

Thank you....He's in alot pain but he's going to be ok.

Hope he's ok. I know that's when the distance really hurts when you can't be there for them in emergency situations.

But God works in mysterious ways- try to use it as an expedite. Gather all the medical bills and it may help you get a quick interview.

Thank you... All in due time the pain will get a little easier. Overallthank god his alive and will be ok

Is the birth certificate not in English, even partially?

If there is another language on there, you probably would need certified translation.

If it's not fully in English, then yes you need translation. I did send both Indonesian one and translated one.

Hi, to answer your questions, YES! You need a certified translation of the document, and the bottom of the translation there has to be a statement saying that the translator is fluent in English and the language the document is written... for example, Spanish. That the document is true, correct, and accurate. The translation is for ANY DOCUMENT NOT WRITTEN IN ENGLISH! So that includes Marriage, Police, any document! So be careful before you send the packages. Good Luck! :)

Thanks for the encouragement. Hope you catch up to us soon. NVC should have your case number any day now.

Your welcome! I hope so because my husband just recently got in a car accident on his birthday (August 21st) and got a gash and 14 stitches to his head. (TMI)

Wow that was scary. Hope your husband is doing ok now. Praying for his quick recovery.

I am just happy now for everyone's progress at NVC. Hope we will get case complete without checklist soon! :)

Hello February filers. I am happy to see we are all moving towards the finish line almost together. Most of us should be at the NVC stage now. Are there any more February filers that are still waiting for USCIS approval? if so please identify yourselves so we can continue to lift you guys up in prayers. I do believe in prayers. I know with God all things are possible. I pray for the rest of us that are in NVC stage that we will all have a fast review and that the process will be smooth. I pray that we will all get to spend Thanksgiving with our love ones this year.

Amen!!

Interview on the 28th of september.. Yay!!! So excited.. Lord God guide me..

Yay! That's such a great news. God's favor will be upon you!
