Well, we did wait for my husband's tax transcript,from 2012-2014 lol. I think it's better for you to wait. But hey that's just me. We waited because I am such a meticulous person lol.

Hahaha.. hmm how do you think it is better to wait? Is tax transcript better proof than w2 and return?

My hubby used the I-864EZ form since he's the only sponsor, and I am the only beneficiary. It's easier than I-864.

Yes, I will be using it as well, since I qualify for it too. :)

I am using the newest revision of the I-864 EZ form.

How is the older version different or easier?

If you are deciding between the I-864 and I-864EZ, there are requirements that you must meet to either. If you are deciding between older or newest version, I am not sure since I do not know how it has changed.

It is not different actually, but it seems that it has much more wording haha. I didn't want to look at in depth since I already filled out the old version. But I guess it doesn't hurt to print this version too and fill it out, and then see which one to submit.

I have both 2012 and 2013 tax transcripts, but will be submitting tax return for 2014 since I just filed last week .... ughhh! Oh well, the i864 does state to send either a photocopy of the IRS tax returns or transcripts. You should be fine with either one.

Yeah, that's exactly what they did....but it just seems more confusing to me... they should of just left it as is. At the end of the day, it is a contract, regardless if they add more wording, the bottom line is that by signing it, we agree to sponsor the applicant for the next 10 years or until they become US citizens. BTW, I saw on your timeline that your I129 got approved? Is that a new application you are going through?

For 864ez, original tax transcript is required

I saw on your timeline that your I129 got approved? Is that a new application you are going through?

I filed it 2 weeks after I130 with copy of noa1. I129f got rfe and approved after i130 went on to nvc. I129f will be sent to nvc and probably closed. (Backup plan)

Update for today:

My IV fee finally available and hubby already paid it. Now we are waiting for DS-260. So excited!

How exciting! I am in the same boat! Can't wait to fill out that puppy!! hehe.

Update: After posting this I went on the website, and I am able to fill it out now!!! OMG! How exciting! Will wait to fill it out until l get home since I am still at work. I need a more quiet place to fill out with any interruptions. hehe.

We sent original ones, from 2012-2014.
