I think you can send out AOS & IV package now, with the bar code you got from NVC for AOS bill (email). My husband just happened to get welcome letter in the mail, the same day he was about to send out our docs. So we included cover letter from NVC in our package.

Oh wow, are you serious?? So if i am able to pay for AOS and get the bill today, I can send the package? I'm still waiting for my tax transcripts to arrive! Lol

Yes, as long as you include the bar code from AOS bill in your package. Anyone, please correct me if I am wrong.

LOL, we also waited 5 days for my husband's tax transcript, which we regretted why we did not do it earlier.

Hmm yeah i am not exactly sure, but for a while i was having issues loging into the system even though i had my case number and invoice number since wednesday. I did call NVC about it on wednesday to let them know i had problems loging in. Yes that would be very cool! haha. The Jakarta Embassy is not as congested as alot of others from what i've seen anytime i have to go there so we may all get bunched up at the same date!

Is anyone in this forum thinking or is using the I-864EZ form? I also noticed they updated the versions of the I-864. I was able to print the older version before they were revised, but not sure if I should send the revised form. It also says the older version is accepted until October 6th. If this is the case, I rather use the older version, it seems easier to me. The new version, seems to ask more questions, although not complicated questions. But still, I would rather use older version. Hopefully I get to send the packages soon!!!

My hubby used the I-864EZ form since he's the only sponsor, and I am the only beneficiary. It's easier than I-864.

I am using the newest revision of the I-864 EZ form.

How is the older version different or easier?

If you are deciding between the I-864 and I-864EZ, there are requirements that you must meet to either. If you are deciding between older or newest version, I am not sure since I do not know how it has changed.

Update for today:

Hubby called NVC and he said NVC has reviewed our DS-261. So we will get our IV invoiced soon. Also, NVC has received our AOS & IV package and they are being reviewed right now.

Thank God for moving forward! Although if it's only a small step

I thought we had to wait to send the AOS & IV package until after the IV fees were paid? IS that right that you can send them beforehand? We have paid our AOS fee and completed DS261 but are waiting for the IV fee and DS260 to open up.

I've seen a lot of people send the package prior to paying IV and fill out DS-260. I also read someone waited for IV bill more than a month, but he got CC just a week after he filled out DS260 cause he had sent his package right after paying AOS.

You're welcome. But don't forget to include the bar code given after you paid AOS bill.

Well then, in that case, screw the tax transcript.... lol

I will make photocopies of the tax return and W2 Form for 2014, and include in the package.

Well, we did wait for my husband's tax transcript,from 2012-2014 lol. I think it's better for you to wait. But hey that's just me. We waited because I am such a meticulous person lol.
