We got NOA2 approval today! Just wanted to let everyone know... After 18 months of pending applications we're finally moving forward!

18 months?! Wow, that's a long wait, glad it's all sorted out.

I just wanted to let everyone know that my case was approved on 7/23. Seems that they are working on the cases from February, even though the website says that they are working on cases from December, 2014. Hopefully, all of you who are still waiting will get approved very soon.

Congratulations!

Best with the rest of the processing.

Yes I'm happy that it was! I'm still waiting for them to start working on many case, my husband called them to find out if they had received the mail and they did and it'll take about 10-15 for an officer to review it ect. So finger cross they'll do just that in half of that time frame.

how long is it taking for from NOA 2 to INTERVIEW? i been looking all over and the information is all over the place from 2 to 7 months.

some cases as little as 8 to 12 weeks when the applicant keeps calling NVC and filling and making payments as soon as they have a case number.

any suggestion on this ?

im being relocated from work and my moving date is for the 2nd week of November and i really would love to have my wife and daughter here to pick new town school and home.

Yup i sent them out at the same time, the i129f actually got a receipt number prior to the i130

Didn't the i129f need to be filed with the physical noa1 of the i130 though? Anyways, did you call them at all to find out the status of i129f? Is it going to be administratively closed?

Im not exactly sure as i have a lawyer filling out everything for me. Basically when i got the NOA1s with the same February 17th PD for the i130 and i129f they had sequential receipt numbers with the i129f given a number before the i130 so not exactly sure what that means. As for the Administratively closed I will probably go ahead and check on that some time this week.

Ahh that makes sense.. since the lawyer filed them together, the cases could be looked at together, having the same PD. Since I filed the I129f only after getting i130 receipt notice, the I129f noa1 is 2weeks after I130 noa1. Therefore, the adjudicator must have skipped over my immigrant case until i129f could be looked at after 5 months had passed. Thanks for sharing
