So I spoke to an officer at Dallas office, who tried her best not to give me any info regarding my two cases. (129f & 130)

She eventually told me that the same adjudicator has both cases files since July 10th. No RFE's or any red flags..no idea why he is waiting. She suggested I go home and wait. Lol, really! She wouldn't do a service request, because she didn't like me. Simple as that. They really try to get to the next customer as soon as you sit down. Very little customer service.

Sorry for the waste of your time. Truly all we can do is sit and wait. We will hear good news from now on until August 11th in the of Jesus.

She said she didn't like you? Those exact words?

How is that ok to tell someone?

I was patient. I was calm. I told her I understand what she is saying and tried to communicate to her my concerns. She said she can do a service request. Later, she says she will not do it. She kept cutting me off and said I need to help someone else. At this point, I asked her why she will not do a service request for me. "Is it because you don't like me?" She lost interest in helping me. I simply would not walk off after waiting over an hour, having taken time off work, without first getting information specific to my case.

She also said because I have 2 cases that it might take 6-8 months. Lol. Her estimation from top of her head.

On the bright side, I know that one person has both of the cases and is sitting on it for whatever reason.

If you guys have any questions specifically for me,

I will be glad to help via private message.

HI everyone! !!!

I just want to share the news with all of you that my case has Been Approved! !! NOA1 February 9th 2015! I goy approval July 20th! I cannot believe it! I am currently visiting my husband, for a 2 week stay. I decided to go online just now and my surprise was to see that approval status!! I haven't even shared the news with my husband hehe.

To those that are still waiting. I want to say to not lose hope even if the processing time has been back dated to 2014. I am unsure, but I believe calling USCIS and ask about your case might help since I called on Friday the 17th of July. Although customer service wasn't so helpful. I think they still keep a record of you calling, because he did tell me that my record showed no previous calls to them. So I told them I didn't want to call because I hadn't reach the processing time of 5 months and want to give it another week or so to call and ask about my case. My thinking is that if you call before the processing time, they will respond that you haven't reach the time stated on their processing time website. So it is better to wait after your 5 month mark if possible a 7-10 days after the 5 month mark. Anyways, that is my advice.

May God hear your prayers, I too, will pray for all of you to get your approvals soon! Don't lose hope guys your approvals are on their way!

I think we have all experienced rude arsey call handlers at various places. But, having read your comments, I think perhaps she had thought about doing a service request because you were slightly over the 5 months guideline. When she saw that your cases are with a person being processed, there would be no point issuing a service ticket as they are already being dealt with.

Take comfort in that it really shouldn't be too much longer. At least you know they're being looked at! :)

Oh BHS Mama sorry to hear that! I have gotten an RFE from USCIS before when I was Adjusting status. They didnt tell me anything over the phone and I had to wait for the mail to see what was wrong :( It was something wrong with the medical, the doctor didnt sign it or something. When we went back to get him to sign he was on vacation! I was devastated...Once we get the signature, we sent it over night. Case was a bit delayed but we eventually got our approvals.

It happens girly, you are not the first and you will not be the last...so try not to feel too bad...Even with an RFE you are closer to your loved one than someone who just applied for I130 today..When this process get over.. your immigration story to be with your love will be more interesting. God doesnt give us more than we can bear...You are strong enough to get through this hunny...We are all rootin for you.. ((hugs))

Thank you so much for taking the time out to share your experience and your kinds words I really and truley appricate that.

Hi all. I wanted to share that I received by NOA2 today, July 21 (and on my last day visiting my husband before I have to head back to the US¡). My NOA1 was February 26 at NSC.

For those worried about the new NSC processing date of January 2014 listed on the USCIS website, I think it has to be a mistake. Keep your heads up - your approval is coming soon¡

Congrats All!!!

Based on all the recent approvals, it seems the secret to being approved is you have to be with your significant other or about to go visit them.

The fact that she kept cutting me off while talking distracted me a bit. Just for clarification, this was an in person appointment.
