Congratulations! Weird because I saw a couple of people on other groups get their NOA2s last week with dates slightly later than yours. Strange it doesn't seem to go chronologically at Nebraska! Good for you though, good luck at NVC :)

@mbilah

I thought it was you who got approved. I was beginning to rejoice.... But all approvals are welcomed. Pretty much Nebraska has been consistent with between 4 1/2 to 6 months processing. I'm giving them until the end of July for me

Yeah, Nebraska is doing very well. I really hope Vermont will be faithful with their times as well. We need some good news!!

We got the approval email this morning. Looked on the site and it shows approved. Hopefully they send it to NVC correctly. Does anyone know if the USCIS site shows when they send it to NVC? I am worried that they won't send it to them as we didn't put a consulate in question 22 as we thought it was for adjustment of status only (as it says) and have read that we should have put something, others say we shouldn't...so here is to hoping....

On to the next step!

Good luck everyone!

Congrats to you and yours @Brentos. When NVC gets your case, please call them and let them know of your concerns.... But since you had a Canadian address on it they'll assume that it's Montreal anyways but I'd not speculate. Give them a call

Well I read on here that it happened to someone that their case got messed up because of it. The problem is, if that happens, it doesn't get sent to NVC, they send it to another USCIS place for local processing or something. Because if you are doing adjustment of status, you don't go to NVC. The form is badly written in that case.

But from what I have read is that it is common for people to not answer it so they should still send it.

Guess we will see soon. Here is to hoping.

@brentos

Friend, we almost missed that question also because they have two questions in the same line and it was easily mistaken. Wow! Better yet, please call the USCIS national service center and let them put in a case request update. Call them now....and even when they say they did it, call again on Monday to ensure it's done...
