Well they said that its not as urgent. I called them and ask if i should provide additional documentation but they said no. We're two days apart then. Going on 1month my friend. Is nebraska the slowest one? Coz i saw some of the cases over here are quite fast though.

Sorry, I had a stupid moment and put March. I meant February not March. So February 6th is my NOA1. So almost 2 months. Tried to edit my post but I can't seem to.

Nebraska does seem like the slowest currently what I can see...but it is really hard to tell.

The only ones that have gotten approved so far from February are the people from the Philippines because they are auto expedited. For the rest, I believe Nebraska is currently working on people who filed beginning of October. Well from the VJ timelines.

What? Why are they auto expediting the people from the Philippines? The wife is currently in Canada but she is a filipino citizen. You would've assumed that they would expedite people in Canada because we're right beside each other.

So they started expediting people affected by it, then everyone. Then they extended it...and it seems to never have stopped.

It is great for people there. But I am not sure it is needed anymore. And people that are being expedited rarely even know why until someone here tells them.

I am a U.S. veteran, that has been living in the Philippines for 4 years now.

There are Typhoons here every year and the damage and home displacement is always high. Many many people here live in plywood homes and some use cardboard for walls, while other use tarps for walls and ceilings. The real problem here is the corruption of government officials and policemen and women. Countries keep sending millions of dollars and the majority of that money lines a politicians pocket. When we leave here we will never come back. Expediting Philippines Immigration is a humanitarian effort, but not just because of the typhoons. There is always more than meets the eye, or what you may see in print.

Hello Everyone! Let's just all be patient, pray and go about our normal work/days. And try to support one another. Im from Philippines and our NOA1 was received Feb 2 but got receipt on Feb 4. Still awaiting our NOA2. Its been 52 days since and still counting the days.

By the way, I checked on our USCIS online case status. Its is correct Feb 2 as received, but when I clicked on the details of the receipt...it says updated Feb 10. Does anyone here have any idea what it means? Did you notice change in your date under your receipt details too or remained the same? Just curious if that have any bearing on some cases.

I believe its still case to case basis even in applicant from Philippines. But I would imagine they devoted 1 department or section for Phils. alone which is just good for them to do otherwise they will be buried in papers because there are thousands of submissions from Philippines alone everyday.

I couldn't wait to see my eldest son and my husband. I haven't seen them almost a year now. They left in April of last year. My husband was in the hospital a week ago for his heart when he almost passed out and I wasn't even there to help him, so you could just imagine my frustration. I'm glad he's ok now. Thanking God for that. There's reason for everything. In God's own time.

Good luck everyone!

Corruptions have been part of our government too, so I'm not going to deny that. I just hope the condition in the Philippines will get better soon. I have not seen it myself but I bet it is so devastating right now, just like when tsunami hit us in 2004. Good luck to you and your family!

Yay another feb. csc member. My noa1 feb 28. Still no word. I think things have really slowed down. Looking at aug thru jan noa2 at csc were being processed in around 1 to 2 weeks...

I agree. They've slowed down everywhere. In January Vermont was the same. And just it just stopped in February, literally.

We hope for some results soon. If not, 5 months is still ok.

Hi everyone it says on uscis that they have 5mo to review the documents. i'm currently serving in the military but they declined my request to expedite. My priority date is 02mar2015. Havent heard anything from them til today. The wife is currently in canada. How you guys been doing?

Hi Hansamme,

...we are holding on and trying to get through the long wait. Sorry about the expedite, sometimes USCIS does what they want to do. Just know that the love for our loved ones can stand this test and trial by fire! lol ***puts preacher voice back in bag****

Hi peeps

Don't take it that I'm not happy for others success because I am. I only have concerns that the uscis has direct and total control over the timelines we are seeing. Let's pra) and hope that we get approved before that amnesty comes in because we would be out of luck to ever go see our loved ones this year. I'm happy to see folks getting approvals from nebraska. I can't complain because I'm not even 2 months yet. I still believe all stand alone petitions should be expedited. But I'm praying and trusting God that we'll get some soon positive news. God bless you all my bro and sis
