Hi guys,

Congrats to everyone on approvals and good luck to everyone who will have theres soon. I wanted to ask you guys a question, my wife and I are now here in the states, she's already gotten her greencard and her SSN just a week ago i got a text from USCIS that a decision had been made on the I-129f that my lawyer submitted. The intention by him before was to file a K3, my I-130 was approved but way back then they sent me a NOID on the I-129f, i told my lawyer about it and i had thought he would send in a letter to get it withdrawn but it seems the I-129f is still denied. Im not sure if this will impact us in any way later on in the future when we do ROC or if i should be worried about anything, but i would like to know what you guys think. Any input will be appreciated!

Thanks

I think it being denied is normal if they moved ahead with the I-130 but I am not sure. But I don't think it will cause issues. Might be best to call USCIS and ask?

Just curious, how long did it take to get the green card?

Not too long actually, about a month or so i would say. But strangely enough we got the green card but never the SSN we ended up having to go to the Social Security Office and applying for one.

We are in the same boat. Got my SSN 2 weeks after POE but I still haven't gotten my GC. It's going to be 2 months now since I paid the fee (which was before I traveled to US)

I'm sure it wont be long. Most people confirmed receiving it 4 - 6 weeks after entering the USA.

Hey Everyone,

Got an interview date just now ... 11 April at 7am!

Excited and fingers crossed!

Congrats! Best wishes for your interview next month!

I just called the NVC, Jamaica started scheduling yesterday. I got an interview date for April 12. My CC was Dec 2. I am so happy just 47 more days til we get a Visa. I am claiming it in Jesus name.

Finally, congratulations! I believe everything will be good and you will get the visa by God's Grace and favor! :)

Hi guys overall my interview was better than I expected to be, I wasn't denied or approval for my visa, at the last minute we decided to change our sponsor because NVC suggested to carry an additional joint sponsor info at my interview. Got they're everything was OK, answered a few simple question blah blah blah.... The counsler suggested we continue with our orignal sponsor and to have him email me or hand deliver his tax transcript and w2 at the embassy here in Nassau Bahamas asap and I'll be good, I asked him if I needed to bring the document he didn't review and he said no just the tax info. They didn't look at any of my documents except the new joint sponser info. Before the day out we'll email the embassy the info and or hand deliver it.

No worry, I think they just want extra documents. Have you delivered them to the embassy?

My husband got approved! I am probably one of the last of the February filers to get through, but to God be the glory! Approval on 12 April; ceac says printed and issued 14 April. Last step the POE, hopefully within the next 2-3 weeks. He didn't want to get his hopes up, so he hasn't done much to prepare for the transition. Thanks so much for all of your kind words and encouragement through the last 1.5 years of this process.
