@tashired

My fiend's nephew went through Nebraska and it was approved in 4 months and he was asked to leave the country a few years ago. His wife filed in November for him snd his case is already at the NVC. Lol I was saying the same thing that this coming week will be my very first month. Let's keep praying. Remember God doesn't always count 1,2,3,4,5.... Sometime He jumps from 1 straight to 5!

If God takes us to it, He'll bring us through it. He'll never take us where His grace cannot reach and keep us

Hi gracybird25, I did the same too. I put my maiden name instead of the one with my husband's last name. I have no idea if it will affect the approval or not, but I don't think it matters.

I got an email from USCIS today that they approved my case. We will just wait for the NOA2 to arrive. God speed!

Hello everyone! I've been reading the forums for a while and wife and I finally filed the I-130 last week (Feb 27) and we just got the email from USCIS that our I-130 has been accepted and forwarded to the Vermont Service Center! Now I can stop checking our online banking five times a day to see if the check was cashed lol

Now the long wait to NOA2... Good luck to everyone!

Congratulations! One step closer.

Yes, I agree!

We never know how God will work so for now just have faith and keep doing what we need to do.

@maniput

U see what I mean. I'd God counts only 1,2,3...... Gracygirl25 wouldn't be approved yet

@gracygirl25

I guess you didn't believe me when I told you yesterday that your case is gonna be expedited. So there's action at NSC then!

Yeah. I wasn't expecting that it would be quick as that coz based on the forum it will take 5 months. Thanks God. Now waiting for NVC.

@j-zealous and brentos

I didnt know that guys,I thought they were way behind like 7mths in general. That means theres certainly hope for them to do it within their advertised time frame. The good news is were in March so were coming upon our 1st mth in :)) lol that was my glass half full moment..

Well, it seems like 5-6 from the numbers I have been looking at...but one never knows. The part that sucks is like a year ago 5-6 would be okay because then nvc you could have visa in like 2-3 months. But now with nvc being so backed up...it could be another 6 months at nvc...so the process is getting longer overall.

Congrats for gracygirl25. But the only reason they got approved so quick is because there is an expedite for the Philippines because of the Typhoon in 2013. So it doesn't really mean much for the rest of us at NSC sadly...they go into a different queue it seems.

The hard reality is, they will probably have visa in hand before the rest of us even get I-130 approval. Congrats for them, but not great for the rest of us.

Here is to hoping it all goes faster.
