No i didn't have to.... My husband and i kept calling until we heard a positive answer. They told him to give them a few more days. Woke up this morning with an email attachment i couldn't so i decided to give them a call and was told its about receiving my package on the 26th and it 30 days.

Awesome... so your scan date is 26th, so you and I are more or less on the same scan date..

Hello, sorry for late reply. Kinda devastated over the result of my interview, but still alive and breathing. Its our AOS for joint sponsor. I totally didnt thought about having an I-864A from our joint sponsor's spouse because their tax filing didnt quite made it to the poverty requirement (They lack a few hundreds) although they have plenty assets but since their assets is conjugal, still needed the I-864A. But here's the problem, from interview, the CO said its should be easy considering its just the wife of our joint thats needed paperwork, so we submitted all including the latest W-2 and ITR of our joint sponsor, plus the I-864A, few days after i got a call from the admin officer from embassy saying its wrong, that I should totally change our joint sponsor. Thats confusing, because thats not what the CO at the interview said. So now we're kinda hanging, I wanted to clarify the confusion but no one at embassy is reachable to answer directly except the call center agents which answers their phone and gives you no specific answers but the routine spill they are trained to tell you.

Right now we are working on finding another joint sponsor while I'm trying to get some specific answers from the embassy regarding the confusion between the admin and the CO. The 221g email letter also did not say i should change the joint sponsor and the CO at interview didnt say it either. He just said he needs the consent from the joint sponsor's wife because we're using assets to qualify for the AOS requirement and everything else looks good. Yet all of a sudden, after it has been served the Admin officer asked me, why I passed the same joint sponsor? I was like, duhh, thats what the consul officer said...but she didnt want to validate that.

We're still praying and hoping my CEAC status will change to Ready, since we submitted all additional papers that was asked in the 221g email. I already mailed letter to embassy officer to clarify the situation. We're hoping right now that someone would address my letter...while we're working on another possible joint sponsor.

Got my passport and visa already. Took two days only after interview. Thank God! Now I can relax a bit and prepare for my traveling next month

got my daughter third N/A last Monday and just saw my wife's third N/A today ..... life is good.

will keep you all post with more news any time soon.

for now i'll call NVC to see if they have a interview date.

Hello everyone !!

Called NVC yesterday and they said my documenta hve not been reviewed yet. My scan date is Oct 13. So i was hoping CC. Anyone have an idea how can i get a clue that i have a CC without calling NVC and waiting on the phone for an hour. ?

Hi Navster,

You can check ceac website ( ceac.state.gov ). What I do is: i click on Immigrant DS-261, Online bla bla bla, then login with case number and IIN. Then the page is going to open and you can see 2 N/A under Affidavit of Support Documents and Financial Evidence and another one under Civil Documents.

At this point your Affidavit of Support Fee should show PAID. When that changes to N/A usually means CC After you see the magical 3rd N/A you have to call NVC to confirm that it is indeed Case Completed.

Hope this helps! Good luck! Let us know when you get CC (i'm 1 day after you with the scan date ? - 14th of Oct).

Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law?

I think I don't have them. I know I have the one from my country but I lost my record sheet.

I had my interview today and they hadn't received my medical yet. They said that it should be there in a couple of days and all I have to do is sit back and relax and wait for my visa to be printed and my passport to be mailed to me within ten days. So I guess I'm approved?! Should I update my timeline?! ????
