So we will know if USCIS approved the petition after 5 months? Im confused with the processing... When I checked my case on the USCIS page they stated their that they accepted our case but no confirmation yet if they approved it or reject.

It depends on each case, mine also has the same online. Now it's just waiting for approval.

@gracybird25

The good thing is that you're from the Philippines so you can expect an an approval in far less than 5 months as those cases are automatically expedited

If God takes us to it, He'll bring us through it. He'll never take us where His grace cannot reach and keep us

You mean the NOA2 will be after 5 months from the date they accepted our petition? Edited by gracybird25

By husband got out actual NOA1 03/5 in the mail. One step closer to the finish line. Did anyone file there I-129f right away or was told to wait until further notice?

Hello everyone! I've been reading the forums for a while and wife and I finally filed the I-130 last week (Feb 27) and we just got the email from USCIS that our I-130 has been accepted and forwarded to the Vermont Service Center! Now I can stop checking our online banking five times a day to see if the check was cashed lol

Now the long wait to NOA2... Good luck to everyone!

That's good to hear. Any idea how long is the processing at NVC once the petition was approved at USCIS?

May I ask if what did you put on the other names used (including maiden name) on your form I-130? I put none instead of my name when I was single. Does it affects on the approval at USCIS because of that lapses?

Hi gracybird25, I did the same too. I put my maiden name instead of the one with my husband's last name. I have no idea if it will affect the approval or not, but I don't think it matters.

@tashired

I see people here going through Nebraska getting approvals within the 5 months timeframe currently. Texas is giving approvals in less than 4 months for i-130.
