Screaming all the way from the Caribbean, congratulation to everyone that got their CC's, interview dates and visas. Words can't express how happy i am for each and everyone of you. Those that are still waiting like myself and others please continue to prey a special prayer for us that we too will get those cc's, interview dates and visa soon than we think. Hey everyone! Just got my wife's interview date!! Nov. 13th in Mumbai. Next up is the Medical exam... My cc was Oct.7th, so seems things are flowing for all of us! :)

Congratulation to you both, wishing you all the best with your medical and interview day. I pray that it's a speedy process.

Refresh my memory, This probably a silly question..... what's a scan date again? Or how can i get it? Or do i have it? Lol help me out here.

Scan date is when NVC receives your packages and scan them into their system.

Scan date is when NVC receives your packages and scan them into their system.

Thanks, unfortunately i don't have one as yet. Hopefully soon they'll scan my documents in their system soon.

How long does it take for NVC to scan documents by mail into their systems? Do my husband and i have to call them or would they contact us by an email/mail?

Have you sent out your AOS & IV package? NVC should receive your packages and scan them in at least one week after you mailed them.

Yes my husband sent out both packages together on September 30th. I called them on the 7th to see if they had receive our package and they said that they didn't and saw nothing in the system and that they would email my husband with updates.

Try to call them again and ask. Please don't depend on updates from email cause sometimes you won't receive any email from NVC. They were really slow with e-mail in my case. No kidding! :huh:
