Mine also locked out but i think it was me forgetting the password which caused lock of account.

That's weird, why shouldn't they just look into it now? Did you insist on looking into it now? If it was me, I might not let them talk me into another 30 day wait period.

I think the websites down. For some strange reason iv decided to just log on last night and I was locked out also.

I would keep calling them every other day just to check in maybe someone will me more willing to help out or give a bit more information.

This happened to us months ago but it seems to be because they make the password expire and force you to change it by locking out your account. So you need to do the forgot password.

at least that is what happened to us at USCIS.

Was after about 3 months or so.

Mine also locked out but i think it was me forgetting the password which caused lock of account.

That's weird, why shouldn't they just look into it now? Did you insist on looking into it now? If it was me, I might not let them talk me into another 30 day wait period.

I think that might be the reason... the password expires after a certain amount of time. But you can't blame a girl for being hopeful!!

The congressman's office said to wait the 30 days for a response to the request submitted at the infopass appointment. The FBI background checks can take a long time because if they get a hit on your name, they need to investigate/sort things out. Unfortunately my husband and I have very common names. So I am sure something came up and they need to clear that it's not us. HATE THE WAITING!! I just try to remind myself it hasn't been the right time, and it hasn't been meant for us to be together in the US yet and God is just getting things ready and where they need to be. Just hope to get through NVC speedy like most of you are.

I'm sure you won't like this....but Vermont is often the slowest to send cases from what I have seen. It has also only been 2 weeks. It took 2 weeks for our case to make it to NVC from Nebraska.

2015-06-19: NOA2 Email. 133 days between NOA1 and NOA2

2015-06-26: USCIS update that case was sent to NVC

2015-07-14: Case number assigned when calling on 2015-07-20 but couldn't give emails as case was locked still

2015-07-27: Called and was able to give emails

2015-07-27: Submit DS-261

2015-07-27: Pay AOS Fee

2015-08-25: Receive IV bill

2015-08-26: Pay IV Fee

2015-09-05: Submit DS-260

2015-09-07: Sent AOS and IV package via EP

2015-10-11: Resubmit via EP after being told to do so on 2015-10-09 as it looked like our original emails were lost

2015-10-16: Received email for scan date of 2015-10-12. Told that basically nothing can be done and we need to wait 30 days from 2015-10-12 (30+ days lost because they lost our emails)

2015-10-26: Told case is basically complete but that they are building my electronic file. Told there is no timeline for this.

2015-10-30 & 2015-11-13: Still told no update. Building electronic file still and no timeline.

2015-11-17: Case Complete

2015-12-03: Receive packet 4

2015-12-15: Medical

2015-12-18: Medical picked up results

2016-01-12: Interview - Approved!

2016-02-03: POE

No, we didn't receive any notification. Our last notification was the NOA2

I'm sure you won't like this....but Vermont is often the slowest to send cases from what I have seen. It has also only been 2 weeks. It took 2 weeks for our case to make it to NVC from Nebraska.

It's been more than a month for them. I was in Vermont too and NVC received my case after 2 weeks.

Try to call NVC and ask them. If they have no answer, then call again. Maybe ask to talk to supervisor?

But it's better if you call USCIS too and ask them when did they send your case to NVC.

Sorry...I just noticed that I was slow this morning and in my head I thought it was August I guess...or August didn't exist....I don't know.

They don't always send the notification that it has been sent. So that can't be counted on.

Have you tried to call USCIS and ask if they sent it?

Hi,

What does the USCIS website says? That your case was approved? Or that they've sent it to the Department of State?

My case took 18 days to arrive at NVC after NOA2 and I thought it was long... I'm really sorry for you :-(

It just says case approved.

I'm going to ask my husband to call USCIS, we've already called NVC and that's when they told us they don't have it.

Call and ask for a tier 2 supervisor at USCIS- they should be able to track it down and get it sent.
