fathers mailing addrtess not known for ds-160

im filling out ds-160 and its asking for fathers mailing address, but i dont know it, what do i do?

see now its asking for my kids name, now my fiancee forgot to write his name in i-129f and its asking if hell be traverlling at a later date. but by the time he does if he chooses hell be over 16. so im now usnure as to that lol

additionally it asks if im employed, atm im not will this affect decision?

I can't see how your employment status would affect the application, always be truthful.

You're supposed to include children on the i129-f form even if they aren't intending on coming with you I thought? I'd include him on the DS-160 to be safe.

yeah she forgot to put him on the 129f, so im putting him on the 160 hopefully that wont cause issues

Don't try to over think the form. Just answer truthfully the question as they are written. The same form is used by many different non-immigrant visas. It isn't written only for you the K1.

Do you know your Dad's address. Nope.

Are you employed? No

Do you have a child? Yes. List his details.

If your child isn't getting a K2 visa right now to enter with you or within one year as a "follow to join" on your K1, then your answer is NO to coming at a later date (on your visa so to speak).

If he wants to come later than within the year you enter, then he will have to be petitioned on a new visa. Example of someone who would say yes-- person getting a K1 who wants to move now, but the kid is going to finish the school term and come in July. So will your kid come before Feb 2016?

Just wanted to add, I found the filled out DS-160 in the example forms section of VJ very helpful when I completed mine

I don't remember the exact wording, but if the question says "list your children" or "do you have children" then yes you do.

yeah i said yes i have one but no he wont be travelling with me and no he wont be travelling later
