Today i had interview at islamabad embassy, but nobody took $165 dollar, shall i worry or go back n deposit fees, please tell me urgent

At the end of interview didn't you asked what is the status.. Approved or otherwise ... Did they gave u any slip with requesting further docx

well i am suggesting on the basis of what i read here. I am yet to go through embassy and we are not even half way done.

No one at the embassy is suppose to take your $165 immigration fee. That fee you pay online after you pick up your Visa. You need your Alien number that will be assigned since you pick up your alien number. There should be instructions hopefully that come with your Visa packet.

Go here to http://www.uscis.gov/uscis-elis you can pay before you arrive in the US or after no matter. This is the fee that pays for the generation of your green card.

Well he said you will receive passport in couple of weeks n looks everything fine. He gave slip for some documents n i said i hv these documents with me. Then i waited n he say ok bye n i came out of embassy but status still say READyyyy

I picked up my packet yesterday. Inside it comes the sealed envelope three sheets of paper and my passport. One of the sheets of paper has the instructions to pay 165 dollars online. It took a whole week from the interview until i could see the tracking number.
