Hey guys - still a long time away for my wife, but I figured it will be good to get information beforehand. She entered the US Sept 2014 on a CR-1 Visa, when should we file for a removal of conditions? (I've heard 6 months is ideal). What is the general processing time for this application and can I assume the packet will be something similar to what I sent in to the USCIS at the initial CR-1 Visa process.

:guides: easily accessible at the top of the forum page. In particular, the VJ ROC Guide: http://www.visajourney.com/content/751guide It should answer many of your questions. There really is no general processing time, currently there is a big disparity in processing times between the two service centers. Though there are other factors also likely in play. Review monthly ROC filing threads for some ideas on processing.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
