My fiance came to usa on I-129 from japan. we have already been married and are now conducting the forms for green card, travel, and work permit. On form I-765 where it says last name do we put her original last name? when does her last name change to mine? What is I-94? i thought usa stopped using it! She does not have a alien number it is question 10 on the form. Also date of last entry to usa. Do we put the day she landed here on the visa? 15. asks current immigration status. what should i put?

16. says eligibility category. she was single with no kids and we got i-129 what should we put? on form I-485 it asks curent uscis status what are we suppose to put? it asks again I-94 and expiration. I do not know what to put there.what does it mean to be inspected by immigration officer? she talked to them at the airport like normal. she did not go to another room. is that inspected? on form I-131 it asks lass of admission. what is that? 1.d. is that what i check for part 2.

Any help would be appreciated!

You meant I-129F, yes?

Print out your I-94 info > https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html

Follow this guide for AOS > http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

Read through the form instructions for each form.

Check the example forms. They can help answer many of your questions > http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples

Status = K-1 visa holder

I-765 eligibility = (c )(9 ) - adjustment applicant

Part 2 1d.? You mean Part 2 of the I-485? If she came on a K-1 fiance(e) visa, then why would you check the box for asylum? 1c. would be the correct one.

She has an A#. It should be located near her name on the I-129F approval notice(NOA2).
