Hello all, I'm new to this forum. :star: Thanking you in advance for any advice you can provide.

I'm Canadian and we sent our K-1 Fiancee Visa petition to the Texas (Dallas) Centre on January 26, a Monday.

We enclosed the Form G-1145 so we could be notified of its acceptance.

Fiance has been checking his email every day and nothing from the USCIS yet. It's now February 9th. Is it common to wait this long for the notification? We mailed it from WA state.

I'm also wondering about something else. To prove our relationship, we sent photographs as well as a statement of the dates we've met and our weekly habit of visiting each other. We didn't enclose any e-mail or chat printouts, or tickets. Is this likely to be considered insufficient evidence?

Thank you.

Can you check to see if the check/money order has been cashed yet?

As for the evidence, it will probably be fine, but I would have included at least one other kind of evidence besides photos and a statement (such as plane/bus tickets, hotel/restaurant reservations with both names, etc.). Worst case scenario, you get an RFE and delay the process by a couple of weeks.
