Hi,

Sorry to hear you are on AP. I've never seen that particular instruction list before but from the questions they are asking they clearly need to do more background checks. I'd suggest you fill in the form as quickly as you can - with accurate information of course- and submit it so that the process can be done as quickly as possible. Unfortunately this is probably one of the APs that will take some weeks rather than days to process. Good luck!

Warning !! this email might be fraud ! follow with me :

couple hours ago an Algerian facebook friend, sent me the same email, asking for assistance. thus, when I got the email body, I noticed it was filled with spelling mistakes, such as:

apllicant

YOURE

responde

LiST

and what even blows things up is, stat.gov .. what is that ? we all know there is only state.gov when it comes to US department of state. I have googled that domain and found it exists BUT along with country proxies such as China ( stat.gov.cn ) etc..

and I found this topic googling the email address.

I also, to be sure, used an email validator, and found out that "AlgiersAdditionalinfo@stat.gov" does not exist at all, and when I correct state.gov, it gives me unknown results. IF this thing is real, there has to be a search result for "AlgiersAdditionalinfo@stat.gov" or just "Additionalinfo@stat.gov" or even stat.gov itself.

I suspect that, just someone ( perhaps a friend ) knew that you had won, had an interview, and in addition to that he/she knew your email address, so tried to terrify you.

Abdelkader, we need your help. how did you get this email? who sent it to you, ID etc so we can go further.

His original post said he was handed the question list at the embassy, not that he received it via email -he said "but they gave me a paper" .... he only has to respond via email. I assumed the spelling mistakes were the poster's where he transcribed the paper to the forum.

At least that was the way I understood it. I agree that if he received an email with this and has copied it exactly then it is a scam.

oh my, I didn't even pay attention to the bold text above, that he was handed the paper during the interview. so, if that is the case, he must complete the questionnaire so quick to send it. and then he will get to know if the email is real or fake, cause mail services offer status reports.

I have the above topic in a pdf, that guy sent it to me in Facebook and it literally matches this one..

I wish he talks more about this..

It's quite possible the original poster copied and pasted the same post on different forums?
