Thank you for your reply :)

No problem. I really think staying in Germany is the best solution. The interview will be a breeze if you're doing it there and you won't have a problem obtaining all the necessary documents. In the meantime, you can still try to find a minimum wage (450€) or full time job to improve your current situation (and it'll be much easier since you're a native German speaker as opposed to being in the French/Creole-speaking environment you'd have to face in Haiti). You'll just have to be patient about your NOA2, that's all :)

PS: I was only talking about getting English translations concerning your move to Haiti. With you staying in Germany, you obviously don't need to do that anymore ;)

Enjoy your trip and the time spent with your dad!

It will be messy and complicated in Haiti. Have some fun have your Fiance go visit you while you are down there. Its cheaper for the visit for him. But please don't go that route... like everyone says. And I know this by experience it is very hard to get a K1 visa from Haiti...

I agree ! That's exactly what we are going to do. And then I'll return to germany for the interview :))

Thank you for deciding this. I know this process is difficult either way you look at it. But staying in Germany is the lesser of 2 evils. Before my then-fiancee came over, she got a job at a fast food restaurant that hired her knowing she would eventually leave. She was upfront with them about it & they were OK with it. That job helped us tremendously financially through this transition.

Thank you so much for your great input !! I remember you were the first person ever to reply to my first thread here and ever since then I had a look at your timeline every now and then and I'm so very happy for you guys ! Your wedding picture that you have on here is lovely !! Also the fast food restaurant idea Is great. I thought about that as well and I will most likely do the same thing like your then fiancé once I'm back from Haiti. All the best for you guys !!

Thanks for saying! I know you'll be together with your Fiance before too long & even though life will be difficult financially early on, it gets better over time. And ultimately, the thing that makes you able to deal with anything is that you get to deal with it together. You are a wise person to post such concerns on here & actually listen to people.
